How to unlock the Through the Wall achievement in Sniper Ghost Warrior - Definitive Guide

For me, this happened naturally. But if you're having a hard time getting it to unlock, try this: When you see a guard in a tower, don't aim at his head. Instead aim at his body through the wall of the tower and shoot until he is dead. It may take more than one bullet through the wall.

This is almost impossible to miss. There are plenty of places where you can get it. There are not all wals you can shoot through. The walls in watchtowers or fences that there's holes in so you can see the enemy through the cracks are shotable so fire away.

When you´re in the village on the level "Weaken the regime" The are to "sniper towers" with one guy each in them.. Shot a bit bellow them on the tree instead an the achievement will pop.. Remember the red cirkel and spam the shooting:D:D

I got this using an M4 and shot someone that was behind a crate, so I don't think it has to be a 'wall', just cover.

I found that the best place to get this was Chapter 10, The End Is Near...

Right at the beginning of the level, once you gain control of your character, turn around. You'll see two lookout towers in the distance, both of which have an enemy at the top. The enemy in the lookout tower towards your left, however, has his middle section "Protected" by a thin, wooden wall. Aim at the wall and take the shot.

As soon as you see an enemy hiding behind a wall, shoot through that wall and kill him.

You should have many chances to do it during normal playthrough.

A great place to get this achievement is on the very first level. After making your way through the ruins, you’ll meet up with another sniper. After you shoot and miss your target from up on the cliff, clear out all the enemies you can see below.

Then use the rope to get down and follow the small path that leads to the right of the two yellow buildings. Continue heading in that direction, underneath the pipe, and you should see a small guard tower to the left. Position yourself a little further up and shoot the guard through the wood siding.

This is an easy trophy. As soon as you see that an enemy is hiding behind a wooden wall, try to shoot him with you sniper rifle. You have to kill a soldier by firing through the structure. You should get several opportunities to get this by playing normally. But the easiest early place to get this is in the very first level.

After you repel down into the refinery, soldiers will spawn on the far side of the map. There is also a guard tower over there. Take out all the others first, before going for the guy in the tower. There is a nice spot under some storage tanks on the way there that sets you up nicely for the shot. Make sure to aim at the side wall of the tower, and try to hit the guard as high up as you can. Two or three shots to the body should be enough to do the job. Or if you can manage it, a single headshot will work.

The easiest way to do this is by killing a guard in a guard tower. Get your cross hair to be aiming through the wood near his lower body and just shoot until he dies.
