How to unlock the Model Collector achievement in SnowRunner - Definitive Guide

I just got this achievement and can confirm, you do NOT need to own every vehicle at the same time to get this. You can simply buy each one and sell them off to continue to have money to buy the next vehicle you need. Just simply play the game, do your contracts, sell off any trailers around the map for extra money, and you'll naturally progress and get more vehicles free from exploring and doing missions, and buy the ones you need to. Sell off a vehicle to give you the money back, that way you always have money for another vehicle you need. I suggest maybe keeping a list of the vehicles you haven't had yet to keep track. But my main point, you don't need to have them all at once.

Just got this after some issue, for some reason my Russian Vehicles that i bought and sold for the own all Russian vehicles, as i was buying them the achievement tracker I had on the side of the screen progressed and I finally got the achievement, don't know why the Russian vehicles didn't count back when I got them all for the Russian vehicles achievement.

So I guess if you're having issues just go through and buy them all again

So had to go through and buy every single vehicle again, including ones I'd bought already (ie the Antarctic)

Does anyone know if the DLC trucks count at all?

I think this should read "Purchased every vehicle in the game". I had the owned US/Russian vehicle achievements pop but this didn't. Stuck @ 67% so went through and purchased all again, including the ones gained through tasks that you might 'own'.

After unlocking both achievements for American and Russian vehicles, this was showing only 56%. My fix. I exited garage, went back inside, bought and sold all American vehicles one by one, went to Russia and did the same and unlocked the achievement after buying few Russian trucks.

Achievement is still buggy. Just sell and buy all trucks over and over and it will eventually pop.

For anyone still doing this ... mine would NOT unlock after multiple tries. Then ... a light bulb went on! I had some mod trucks installed and looks like they WERE required for me. I switched truck store to 'view mods only ON" and bought all the modded trucks and my "All Russian" and 'All Trucks' achievements finally both popped after being stuck at 91% and 94% respectively.

Your mileage may vary - but i'd either try turning off the modded trucks rebuying any that are active and ON in your game save.

Faced with the fact that all cars were open in the game, but the achievement counter was frozen at a certain percentage.

My actions on 06/27/2021:
1. I sell all cars.
2. I go to any garage in Michigan or Alaska.
3. I buy all American cars.
4. I get an achievement.
5. Selling cars again.
6. I go to any garage in Taimyr.
7. I buy all Russian cars.
8. I get the achievement.
9. Congratulations! The achievement for owning all cars is open!

Good luck getting it!

UPD: You don't need to drive cars out of the garage to achieve this. I did not use mods

Konzhuk’s method worked for me. Progress for this achievement is based on buying all cars including those you unlock for free via tasks. Just sell and buy back as you progress and the achievement will pop.

I got stuck on 85% after completing both the American and Russian truck buying achievements and could not get this one to pop even after buying all of them again at least twice (buy one, sell it, buy the next, repeat).

After completing all tasks and contracts, I sold everything and repurchased (but not deployed) all the trucks again and finally got it.

Not sure this is the case any more...
I've owned all the trucks at one point or another now, and none of the achievements have popped.

Went into the achievements tracker menu in game, and currently my trackers are way down, with what trucks I've got atm.

So my Xbox trackers are pretty high, from pre update tracking.
Now the in game ones are way down post update

This achievement, along with Victory Parade, "Stars and Stripes", Bering Strait, and 18 Wheels is Not Enough, can all be quickly completed using the New Game + options on a new save file.

In the New Game + options, set the Truck Availability Rules to "All trucks available from start" and Truck Pricing Rules to "All trucks are free".

The new save will start you off in the garage in Black River, with just the starting Chevrolet CK1500 deployed. To quickly unlock all 5 achievements, use the Global Map to travel to Alaska, and then buy all of the base game trucks from the truck store, making sure to deploy the TUZ 420. Note that no DLC trucks (marked as such in the store) are not required for any of the achievements.

You don't actually have to own them all at the same time. Buying & immediately selling the vehicle counts as owned. Luckily the game has a 1:1 economy system, which means you can sell vehicles (no matter if new, used, or found) for the same price as they are being sold. Just wait till you have ~150,000 money saved & are Level 26 (some trucks require a particular level) & then go on a shopping spree. You will unlock 18 Wheels is Not Enough trophy_bronze.png  along the way. DLC vehicles (marked with a purple ribbon on the top right) are NOT required for the trophy.

No need to collect. Finding all the cars in the garage is not required for the trophy. You just need to have all the cars at least once. Accordingly, when you receive all the cars marked “explore the world to open” and obtain the level for Kamaz Arctic, you can buy all the rest of the vehicles using the “bought, sold” method. You can track your progress as a percentage through the game in the trophies tab.

Cars from installed mods are taken into account, stuck at 92%, bought all the cars from installed mods and received a trophy.

In one of the latest updates at the time of writing the tip, they added the ANK MK38 CIVILIAN car to the main pool of cars (without the DLC mark), which needs to be bought, and before that there was exactly the same car, but without the ability to modify it and you just had to find it in one of the regions (ANK MK38).

The essence of the hint is that if this trophy did not appear when you received it for all American and Russian cars, then try scrolling through the store and buying some of the cars, perhaps new ones have been added or something like that.

On version 1.03 of the game there is a glitch for duping cars.

According to the above glitch in the attached video there is a lot of unnecessary stuff, a short summary:
1. In any car (the more expensive, the more money you will get in one re-entry) you need to drive up to the transition to the Smithville Dam
2. Go to the menu and create a co-op game. mode
3. Go by car to the Smithville Dam
4. Evacuate to the garage and park the car
5. Leave and come in again - the car in the parking lot can be sold, there is a clone at the crossing

All this works only until the garage opens at the location - Smithville Dam.

This glitch can be used at ANY moment in the game. The main thing is that you have a location where a garage has not yet been found or a location has been opened where there is no garage at all. Then it is from this location that you will evacuate to the garage.

For the prank to be a success, after re-entering the game at point 5, you need to sell both cars (the copy and the one standing at the crossing). When you sell one of them, the game considers that you no longer have this car and the next time you crash the game you will receive a save without this car.
You sell both cars and then buy one again. The game again considers that the car is in the park and the money from the copy is still in the account.

It seems like you don’t need to have all the cars at the same time. Therefore, there are no problems with money.
