How to unlock the Pedal to the Metal achievement in SnowRunner - Definitive Guide

I did this is Alaska on White Valley using the gateways to North Port and Mountain River, it's also possible on North Port between White Valley and Mountain River or if you're on Mountain River you can use any of the 3 gateways between Pedro Bay/North Port/White Valley. I'm recommending these because they're relatively close together and they've all got tarmac roads between the gates.

I found that it's easiest on White Valley if you've got both gateways open (the one from White Valley to North Port needs opening with 1x small pipes and 1x concrete blocks from the nearby warehouse).

The method is the same whatever 2 gateways you use for this achievement. I recommend using an offroad gearbox for this too but possible with anything that has low range. It makes it WAY easier.

Find the 2 gateways you want to use. You'll need to load out of that map using one of the gates, then load back in. BEFORE you turn on your engine, change gear to low + (or just low if you don't have +) then just pin the throttle. It'll start your engine and then low range will limit your speed to make it manageable to make it from one gateway to the next. I used the gateway I reached as soon as I got there and the achievement popped immediately.

Note: Just driving into the first travel box then driving out of it to the next one does not work, I did try it before getting the achievement. You MUST travel into the map and then pin the throttle for this to work.

Happy Trugging!

Easily done with the Azov (Big Red) on Alaska. Doesn't even need low gear. Just remember chained tires.

Thanks for the solution. Also used the Azov 64131 to go from Pedro Bay, across Mountain River to North Port in Alaska. Stayed mostly on Automatic, but in the early stages, I shifted to high gear. Unlocked once I hit X to go to North Port.

Quite easy to do on Island Lake map. As long as you have the bridges to the lumberyard fixed, its almost a straight shot from Smithville Dam starting point.
I did it in a Paystar.

I also did Island Lake. Used a P12. Doesn't seem to matter if you pop it back and forth between auto and low gear, so use low when you need to be careful. On Island Lake, I used low to go over the bridges, and full tilt auto the rest of the way.

I loaded out of the map, and back in to start. I started off in low gear with the hand brake off. Once I hit the gas, never released it. Popped as soon as I entered the box on the other side, did not need to load into the next map.

Another way is If you start in North Port, drive up to Mountain River then immediately jump back to North Port and drive straight to White Valley if you have it unlocked. I used the F750 to do this.

This one could be easily achieved in Taymir on the Quarry map between the Gateways to Drowned Lands and Zimnegork on the paved road around the quarry itself. It should even be easier if the road block "Clearing The Way" has been removed before, but it is also possible to drive through directly, at least with the TUZ 420 "Tatarin". If you are at one of the starting locations, you should not need longer than 5 minutes to get this achievement. Good look!

I did this achievement in Alaska with an almost stock royal BM17, I started in north port used a tunnel to go to mountain river then when I got there I set a route to the tunnel to go to Pedro bay and held cn_RT as hard as I could with my right middle finger so I could use the clutch with my pointing finger on cn_RB and change the transmission back and forth between low and auto the whole way there and used the tunnel as soon as it said to press cn_X to travel and the achievement unlocked instantly on my Xbox One S

This may sound tricky, but it's actually pretty easy. Pick any vehicle you like & go to the Mountain River map in Alaska, as this is the smallest map in the region (make sure you enter from North Point). There is a paved road all the way to the exit to Pedro Bay at the North-East corner. Put your vehicle in Low gear so you don't pick up a lot of speed & just keep the accelerator pressed until you leave the map. You will be traversing this route quite a few times while doing many activities, so you may do this one along the way.

In Alaska, go to the white valley, repair the entrance to the tunnel, and now you have two crossings within a short distance

The trophy is made easily, without repetitions and memorization of the route. In any car, we switch to a higher gear and drive from one transition to another as shown in the picture above.

On the map of the Quarry on Taimyr, just follow a straight line along the asphalt road after the bridge has been repaired, or take a detour. I did it on a Tatarchka, I was just driving around the bridge

It is easier to repair the bridge in the Mountain River location. How to make long trips and repair the tunnel from the White Valley to the Northern Port. Complete the mission to repair the metal bridge in Mountain River. After you have completed the repair. You will notice that when you enter the "Mountain River" there is a distance from the transition of the "Port" to the "White Valley" (across the river). It’s not that big, and it goes purely along the highway. Make the transition from "Port" to "River". And you can mark your path with dots on the map before moving to the “White Valley”. And from transition to transition you press on the gas and don’t let go. You can interact with the gearbox on the go. The main thing is not to let go of the gas. Here's a video for clarity. But if you don't want to fix the bridge. You can memorize the way to Pedro Bay. I myself accomplished this achievement back in Michigan, at the Smithville Dam. Starting from the Black River side and ending at the transition to Drummond Island.

First region, second map.
We repair roads.
On empty Azov we drive from the east (where we entered the map from the previous one) to the west.
When loaded, you may not fit into one place.
