This is a general tip. You DO NOT need to own all American trucks simultaneously to get this achievement.

Throughout the story missions, you'll unlock several trucks automatically. The rest must be bought, although some will be locked behind a level requirement. This achievement is unobtainable until you reach level 24, when the Derry Longhorn 4520 is made available. It is also the most expensive truck (146300 credits). Once you've reached level 24 and have enough funds to purchase the Longhorn, you can buy each American truck one by one and sell it back to the dealer for a full refund. It's easy to tell which trucks are American because, while in a Michigan or Alaskan garage, they're the only trucks that can be bought.

Seems to be bugged as my tracker is stuck at 81%. Even owned all american trucks at once and did not unlock.

If this is glitched for you, try and purchase the trucks you unlocked by repairing/given to you.

Had to buy and sell vehicles several times to unlock this. Exit the garage, that made my progress go up.

What worked for me was selling everything, and then going to Michigan and buying one of everything I could. I tried buying and then selling every single one, one at a time, but that didn't work, it was still stuck at 95%. So if you get stuck sell everything until you have enough cash to own them all at once, that will definitely work!

I had similiar problems to others. I finally got it after buying a MOD truck. I think you must have owned EVERY vehicle that you can buy in the american truck shop no matter if it is from the base game, a DLC or a MOD at least once.

You can unlock this early by creating a new game plus and giving yourself 30 rank and access to all vehicles, then load up the new save and purchase all vehicles and voila!

The derry longhorn on alaska, white valley glitched for me. I was playing online on a different map an one of the other players unlocked it. Him/She unlocking it caused my game to glitch. The glitch was the truck still being locked in the truck store, (Says to explore more to unlock) even though i have it in my garage. It didn't track it so the achievement didn't progress any.
FIX: I ended up finding a online game with the truck task still open, an help the host deliver it to the parking lot

This achievement, along with Victory Parade, Model Collector, Bering Strait, and 18 Wheels is Not Enough, can all be quickly completed using the New Game + options on a new save file.

In the New Game + options, set the Truck Availability Rules to "All trucks available from start" and Truck Pricing Rules to "All trucks are free".

The new save will start you off in the garage in Black River, with just the starting Chevrolet CK1500 deployed. To quickly unlock all 5 achievements, use the Global Map to travel to Alaska, and then buy all of the base game trucks from the truck store, making sure to deploy the TUZ 420. Note that no DLC trucks (marked as such in the store) are not required for any of the achievements.
