The achievement describes the main contracts in the second tab.
There are three companies in each base game region that offer these contracts. All must be completed successfully in order to get the achievement.
While in Michigan, most concern the upkeep of drilling sites, Alaska is more focused on pipeline construction. Russia puts more effort into the development of new oil reservoirs, using seismic equipment.

My achievement tracker says 90% but when I go to the in game summary contracts then sellect all regions I have 100% under with a tick beside each listed contract?? Any ideas? Thanks

Contracts are the main missions of the game. They sometimes require top-tier heavy duty trucks & covering bigger distances through worse terrain the game can offer, so be sure to have at least one adequate vehicle in different categories before attempting these. Although you may see more of them, as they were added with subsequent DLCs, only these Contracts listed below are required for the trophy:

I don’t know why, but it fell out when I walked through Michigan and almost all of Alaska; in Taimyr it was 18%
