How to unlock the Impossible achievement in So Many Me - Definitive Guide

EDIT: some users in the comments pointed out, that you have to collect the rings in the end credits as well. There are a total of 7. If you miss some you ll have to replay the last level.


EDIT 2: I found the last two missing MEs. They are located in the world Volcano. This world will become available after collecting both key cards from boss fights.
The first one is directly on your way and you can't miss it.
The second one is on the upper left side of the map but it is guarded by a robot. Here is what you need to do:
1. Take care of the robot who is guarding the blue transforming bubble. This can be done by using the red bubble to redirect the shots of the turret.
2. Go to the blue bubble and transform one of the 2 MEs
3. Head to the yellow bubble and stand very close to it. Now activate the baloon ability with your blue ME. Since you were standing so close to the yellow bubble your 2nd ME should turn yellow while standing on the baloon.
4. Use the yellow ME's ability directly in front of the gate to distract the robot and open the gate
5. Go through the teleporter and grab the last ME.
6. If you have followed the other videos for the respective worlds the achievement should unlock

EDIT 3 : There are a total of 11 costumes from the shop in Horizon Ruin. As MysticWeirdo points out in the comments: "There are 10 in the shop, 5 available after the 3rd boss, and 5 after the 4th boss.
You get one automatically for beating the final level"

EDIT 4: Also pointed out in the comments: make sure to unlock all 11 artifacts for the 100%. The artifact achievement only needs you to unlock 10, but to make sure to get your 100% you should also unlock the 11th artifact.

EDIT 5: Some people pointed out that for some reason their achievement tracker keeps showing 99%, while the in-game tracker shows 100%. According to multiple people in the comments, there is a way to fix this glitch. Here's what you have to do:

"I also had the issue with the ingame tracker showing 100% but the achievement tracker said 99%. I just chose restart level while in Horizon Ruin and that unlocked it for me."

to get the 100% completion achievement you need to collect each and every collectible and play through all the levels in the game.
You also need to get all the stuff in the hub level and the crono castle
The pattern for the regular levels is 3 collectibles per level ( ring, costume and a new ME)

Just 1000gs the game today. As far as missing percentages, I noticed that there are 11 artifacts throughout the game, despite the fact that the artifact achievement only counts 10, so be aware of that. Check the shop and check all the stages to ensure you've acquired every artifact. The last one I got was the Light Staff, and that's because it cost 10 coins altogether (5 from shop, 5 to craft) and by then I already had the artifact achievement, but it popped my 100% achievement.

Otherwise, just make sure you have the achievements for collecting all of the coins, ME's, costumes, and beating the game and you should get it.

I missed a ring during the run of the credits after putting my controller down at the sight of the credits? Any idea if they count towards the 100% (or are needed for other achievements)? I really don't want to go through that frustrating ending again because there was no indication that something would be there once the credits began.

The rings are needed to buy the skills from the guy in the hub level. If you had enough rings to buy everything, I guess you are good. But to be honest with you I am not sure about it. If you get the achievement eventually let me know if it counted or not. I hope you get it nevertheless, pal.

Yeah, I'll report back whether or not the rings at the end are needed. There doesn't seem to be any indication of how many your missed in the area, so my fingers are crossed.

I lost all the rings (credits) and had to redo the last mission to catch all the rings credits. They are seven in total.

My in game progress was showing 100%...yet my achievement progress is showing 98%...I will give this a few days to hopefully unlock, but this seems like it might be another messed up achievement for me. I did buy the DLC, once I did it dropped my percentage completed to 99.76%. Perhaps if I finish the DLC, and the progress goes back up to 100%, it will pop.

hmm yeah could be that it has something to do with the DLC. I talked to someone else though, who had a similar problem. I start to think that the achievements might be glitched.
Please keep me posted. If it turns out to be a glitched achievement, I'd like to mention this in the solution.

I still haven't got the achievement yet. I have all the costumes, all the artifacts, ME's, etc. I even have the Light Staff. It's stuck at 98% on my achievement tracker. It actually said 100% in game.

I tried getting the DLC, then it dropped to like 99.76% like Seliphas said. It means I still have to get another costume and I am working towards getting the Skulls in the DLC... I have 4 or 5 left and they are quite difficult to obtain. These last lot are giving me trouble and there are no guides for them.

Quick update. DLC is completed...and I loaded up a lvl from horizon ruin. No luck for me...this achievement is impossible...lol

Figured I would check back on this. I saw the developers stated that an update was pushed out...but i have seen that people are having issues with it even popping up for them on game launch. Which is my case exactly. This update was supposed to recheck stats and award achievements respectively...heres to hoping that one day when I boot the game up it will update and give me the achievements...

^^ This worked for me also. Had the same problem. In game progress showed 100% .. Achievement tracker showed 99% .. Selected to replay a level from Horizon Ruins and the achievement unlocked right away!! Thanks :)

DO NOT PURCHASE DLC! Certainly if u don't have this achievement already. I brought it and now my percentage is 99.72% so I won't get the achievement until thats done... And it's fairly challenging as well. A bit annoying considering it doesn't add any new achievements and just makes this one harder to get.

My completion percentage says 100% in game, but in the achievement tracker shows 95%. I've tried restart level as was suggested but it didn't pop. My chrono castle coins and artifacts achievement tracker is off as well and they didn't pop. So frustrating..

I seem to be stuck at 96%...yet I have all coins, mes, costumes, everything from the levels and CC, and the ruins...yet on my menu ability I have 3 ???s and I don't know why....

I did the restart level and replayed a level from horizon ruin between, so maybe that had something to do with it. But they were just stuck and delayed unlocking in the meantime. Glad they popped though.

Sorry that I haven't provided any update. I haven't touched the game in awhile. I did email the developers and they informed me of a bug that caused some users to lose Xbox live connectivity while playing. If the game is left open and the Xbox is turned off with instant on mode on, the game may not reconnect to Xbox live servers at all even if you are online. This may be what happened to me when I was purchasing my items. This was nearly 2 weeks ago that I received a response I have not attempted to open the game yet to see if my issue has been resolved. I will see if loading a level from horizon ruin pops the remaining coatume and 100% achievements and report back whenever my wife and kid hit the sack.
