How to unlock the DIY achievement in Soccer Story - Definitive Guide
So, this one seems a little glitchy…
The premise of the achievement is that you’ll win 3 Plaques (Bronze, Silver and Gold) throughout playing the main quest line (i.e. obtaining the 3 Plaques is unmissable) and that you’ll then need to place these 3 Plaques on their corresponding statues in order to get the achievement:
Bronze Plaque - Crab Beach
The middle right section of the zone - when you walk under the ‘Crab Beach’ sign, head right… (For reference, if you walk out of your house and head downwards, you’ll see the Bronze trophy / statue on the hill).
Silver Plaque - Zen Zone
The middle right section of the zone (to the right of the pitch / stadium where you play the cup games)
Gold Plaque - Woodland
In the golf course area in the upper right section of the Woodland
Once you have placed the plaques on the statues, you should get a final quest step to go a talk to Panda. After talking with him, the achievement should pop.
However, it seems that the game is making a mess of registering if you have placed the plaques / removing them from your inventory. I was somehow able to trigger the task to talk to Panda after placing the Bronze Plaque and placing the Sliver Plaque only? After placing the Silver Plaque, the Silver Plaque was still in my inventory, (despite the fact that I could see the Plaque on the statue). The game ‘allowed’ me to place it for a 2nd time on the statue, triggering the same confirmation message I’d already seen, at which point it disappeared from my inventory, and the game must have thought I’d placed all 3 Plaques (the bronze once and the sliver twice), as the quest to talk to Panda immediately appeared, despite me not yet acquiring or placing the Gold Plaque?
I spoke to Panda and nothing happened….
I continued to the story, and acquired the Gold Plaque. I placed this on the Gold statue and the quest to talk to Panda triggered again. I talked to Panda and after the conversation, the achievement popped!
Anyone struggling with this achievement, it may be worth checking your inventory to see if one of the Plaques is still in your inventory despite the fact that you have already placed it on its corresponding statue. If you still have it in your inventory, try placing it on it’s corresponding statue again to see if that triggers the Panda conversation and finally triggers the achievement…
EDIT: Also, after placing the Plaques, try speaking with Panda over and over again to see if the achievement pops. The comments on this solution seem to suggest speaking to him at least twice is the magic number!!
Apparently, a patch has been released by the devs which should hopefully remove any glitchyness from this achievement… but who knows?!

For everyone having issues on that achievement, all you have to do is either replay all game in speedrun (roughly 5-6h) or replay by Chapter 2 (Athlentic City) beat Tiger and talk to Mum, then with Panda and afterwards you can beat Ms. Business to unlock the Gate for Zen City.
After arriving in there, *DON'T* talk to Sensei Lojo, you start talking with every other NPC and *DON'T* forget to read the sign in front of the Cemetery.
Then talk to Owl -> then with Lojo.
Next you need to talk with the Sensei FIRST (outside from Lojo's dojo after exiting the training grounds and then on the left) who gives you a sheet with the order of symbols, in order to open the grave with his desired object in it.
Then proceed to Owl (which should be acting normal again) to gain the key.
Just play everything regularly afterwards to win the Zen-Cup.
Then mend all the Trophies in ORDER (BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD) then talk to Mum, afterwards with Panda (which triggers a cutscene -> NO SKIPPING)
If achievement still not triggers speak with Panda a 2nd time, which should give you the achievo !
