Do this after you've got some kicks from completing some of the levels. Drive a forklift over to the forklift bit that looks like a helipad, and you'll be able to buy a car body. I think the cheapest is 100 kicks, so as I said, wait until you've done some levels before doing this. Also, to enter a forklift, simply kick it with the A button.

After you drive the forklift. Drive it forward to the Platform to customize it. You will need at least 100 kicks to buy a New Car Body. (Lower Left-hand Side of the screen)
