As you are looting don't sell any item that looks unique, or has a name that starts with Magnificent. These are unidentified magical items.
Give one of your characters Detect Magic and Identify.
Cast Detect Magic as a Ritual, so you don't waste a spellslot, and then when you go into your inventory any magic item will have a ? in the top left hand corner
Then cast Identify as a Ritual and browse through your inventory to find an item with a ? in the top left corner. Select the item and it'll be identified.
Repeat the Identify for 20 different items and this will pop.

The arcane appraiser feat makes this much easier but may require a DLC. The items are automatically identified upon entering the inventory of the character with the feat.
