Despite how old this solution is, please keep in mind that I'm still helping gamers with it. If I don't respond right away, I'm probably at work or sleeping. I have the most availability to play on weekends and when schools are closed during the daytime hours (6 AM to about 9 PM) in Baltimore, Maryland, United States (U.S. Eastern Time / UTC -5).

Solution:

Find someone who already has this achievement and invite them to an Xbox LIVE multiplayer game (Multiplayer -> Xbox Live). You do not need to beat the player, just play 1 match until it ends. The achievement unlocks on the results screen.

Alternatively...
If the hosting player quits, the match will end instantly and the achievement unlocks.

Note: If you are playing Soltrio Solitaire on your Xbox One console, open the Xbox Guide by pressing the View button

and Menu

button at the same time. You need to do this to accept and/or send game invites when playing an Xbox 360 game on Xbox One.

Can you get the achievement if one of you quits the match and the other one gets a win?

I do need the achievement, but I do not know how to play the game. I picked up the other achievements on my tag using the Host & Quit Method.

Yeah, I was also going to say that Microsoft Solitaire has been known for some time and is included with every copy of Microsoft Windows operating system they have released since Windows 3.0! That also means Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 all have Microsoft Solitaire included.

After Windows 7, Microsoft Solitaire was replaced with Microsoft Solitaire Collection, which is included with every copy of Windows 8 and Windows 10. It is also available for Windows Phone (Windows Phone 8 and Windows 10 Mobile). To get it for Windows Phone, you can download it here (visit the link using your Windows Phone and it will launch the Store app).

So yeah, you are familiar with seeing it installed on Microsoft Windows.

Note: Business/Enterprise editions of Windows typically don't have games installed by default, but they can be installed manually (if the administrator chooses to do so).

P.S. Whatever happened to Microsoft Hearts? I guess it got incinerated, just like our beloved Companion Cube.

It might be easier to explain how to play Klondike Solitaire with an actual deck of cards and a real person near you. Understanding the terminology used in a video the game may make understanding how to play a bit harder.

If I were to invite you to a game, I can teach you as best I can, but I can't actually point out stuff on the screen (other than saying "the middle of the screen" or "upper-right corner of the screen").

There is a built-in help system that can be accessed while in-game (either by pulling

; it has been a while since I last played), but I don't know how well that might help you. It can point out to you where stuff is on the screen, like the "Foundation".

It's a general problem I just have. The simpler the Card Game is, the better. I actually have some Card Games I've got for Free with the Windows 10 system and it's just something I need to try and get used to.

You don't have to invite me, don't worry about teaching me at all. I'd rather learn the game when I'm ready and actually then try to complete it when the time is right. Because if I learn it at one point, go away from the game and then come back, I'll only forget how to play it in the first place.

Start an online match and play through it, once it is completed you may or may not get the achievement. Play enough times online and you will unlock this, otherwise go to the x360a forums and post in the achievement trading thread to organise a game.
