Hints on the language can be discovered by finding and interacting with the orbs you find for the Close Encounters Achievement.

For those that don't want to bother figuring it out:

At the Hand Holding section complete the following responses:

Blue Red Blue
Blue Blue Blue Purple Purple Purple
Blue Blue Blue Red Purple Purple
Blue Blue Blue Red Purple Purple Red Red Red

Note: You need to fully light up the circle of people and then move on to the next color as quickly as you can for each response to work (you don't need to match their slow response)

Then Just walk to your family and through the door.

Some people have been unable to get it to work with the above and instead used:

Unsure if this is because the "language" has changed, if it's because of taking different actions, or if it's just easier to repeat a single letter pattern instead of fully written colors...

Huge shout out to Mr SpinelesS & ZyablikRus for making this achievement guide possible.

This can be earnt at the very end of the game in Chapter 14. Where you have to solve a Simon Says puzzle. Head up to the top of the hill and hold hands with the circle of people (hold ). You can copy the first sequence as they announce it but for the remaining three sequences, please follow the colour response guides below:

Sequence #1 - Blue, Red, Blue
Sequence #2 - Blue, Blue, Blue, Purple, Purple, Purple
Sequence #3 - Blue, Blue, Blue, Red, Purple, Purple
Sequence #4 - Blue, Blue, Blue, Red, Purple, Purple, Red, Red, Red

Blue =
Red =
Purple = +

Once complete walk to your family and through the door. This will give you the true ending and the Understanding achievement for finishing the game with diplomacy.

This will explain and show how to get all 10 collectibles, Plus how to get every single ending for a smooth and swift 1000/1000 (Although our main guy could have moved a lot faster right! Lol)
Anyway for this particular ending, you just need to:-

Hold The A Button to hold hands with the ring of people & Then choose the following responses:-
