Simply complete an event in World Tour with 4 players. Only one player has to complete the event, so you can leave the other 3 idle.

Amusingly this didn't unlock after getting 'Team Sonic' in a custom game so just had to do it this way.

I got this achievement but not the corresponding sticker, weird... Trying to get Triple Star Licence and currently at 96%, every sticker is helpful so this sucks :(.

As an FYI I had to complete the event with all three extra controllers. The event simply wouldn't end.

I finished the event with my profile, the other 3 controllers did not, event finished got achievement straight away
I Selected - Career, World Tour, Sunshine Coast

You do not need the 3 extra controllers to finish the race.

@Igor You need 4 controllers and to have a "local" multilayer game. The other controllers' racers do not need to finish the race

Set up 4 controllers and make sure you are signed in on the first controller. Choose the first drift stage on the first cup: the jet set stage one. Finish it and the achievement will unlock.

This has to be done in Career mode. Choose what you please in Career mode, but for what I did is start a Ring Race in World Tour and I completed it while the other controllers were idle.
