How to unlock the Race Leader achievement in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed - Definitive Guide

The achievement is for winning a matchmaking game and can be unlocked in arena mode, I found this much easier than winning a race and unlocked my achievement after two games in arena mode.

There are STILL randoms playing the game. We were shocked to find 5-6 people actually racing when we did a session today. Arena seems quiet but some modes are confusing to play. I'd recommend Lucky Dip mode instead (due to population to avoid randoms) and ONLY use 1 profile on each console. Once there are at least 2 gamertags from different consoles a timer will start. Hopefully no one else joins.

Lol we got this one tonight and one year later the random online dudes are still there. Lucky dip to the rescue and worked perfectly

Lucky me, got it yesterday against 1 person, lucky for me I stayed in first and maintained whole race...

Race Leader - 15G (Original Achievement)

Difficulty: 4/10

To get this Achievement, you must win a multiplayer matchmaking race.

This may be difficult as you will be up against players that may be as good as you, if not better. You may also get lag that will ruin it for you. Your best chance is to try to boost this and have the others throw the race for you, or keep trying until you manage to win a race.

I just finished first and no achievement.
The second had a time like 35560.22554111 and at the end, I was considered to be 2nd.
Is there some kind of glitches or cheat?

After playing single player for so long you should be ready to tackle this easily. You may get this on your first try, you may get it after ten tries but keep at it and don't give up. If you find yourself having trouble try boosting a race or even a battle arena race.

Join a matchmaking lobby and simply beat every player in at least one race/event. Let's just hope you don't face a person who is after this trophy too or some expert!
