For this achievement, you need to get 1st place in a Grand Prix tournament on the Expert difficulty. You don't have to come in 1st every race, just come 1st overall.
I would recommend choosing the Classic Cup as it's only driving. You don't transform into anything which makes it a little easier. The tracks are also from the first racing game and only look slightly different.
As far as characters go, I recommend choosing Ages or Sonic with Speed Mod equipped.
Tips:
Don't go overboard with stunts.
If you get the All Star powerup, save it until the race is almost over.
Try to get at least 1st, 2nd, or 3rd on all four races to guarantee you win the cup.

Some tips that help:
-Choose Vyze or Joe.
-Use a second controller and choose Metal Sonic (this character is really annoying to beat) and let him idle.

This shouldn't be too difficult. Just make sure you read the points table and make sure you can either surpass them with driving skills or bring them down a few rankings by mercilessly shooting them with whatever you have if you find yourself lacking in that particular race. Never give up either. Just because you have one bad race doesn't mean it's over. The AI could suddenly have 3 bad races. You never know until you try until the end.
