How to unlock the Tutorial License achievement in SONIC FREE RIDERS - Definitive Guide
There are three tutorial types:
Board Basics
Gear Techniques
Bike Gear
Board Basics has about 13 tutorials in it, most of them will be easy to do if you have already done a few races before but if you havent then this will teach you how to race.
Gear Techniques is unlocked after you have completed all the Board Basics. They teach you about grindling, flying, smashing and a few other things. There are 6 of these.
The Bike Gear's tutorial is unlocked when you buy a bike gear from the shop. There are about 8 of these and they teach you the same things as the Board Basics but with a bike.
Some people have been having trouble with the air skill one which you have to jump in a circle. You must jump into a spin. This ihard because the sensor isn't that good on this game.

To compensate for the sensor, you just need to do the motion a lot earlier than you'd think, spin whilst on the ramp

I think the sensor is fine I think its more to do with how the Kinect is set up. Afte a lot of research it seems many people have the most success with the Kinect when it is on top of the TV. Im assuming this is because it gives a much better angle on the player. I am buying a TV mount to confirm

As the other guides have said simply complete all Board basics, buy a bike and complete those lessons as well. The spin trick does seem to be the one people have trouble completing. There is a way to trick the sensor into believe you have jumped and spun.
Crouch as low as possible, rise up on the kicker and throw your hands into the air. Then swing your arms quickly down and across your body. This should trick the sensor about 80% of the time that you jumped and spun.

You need to do all the board tutorial's, all the gear's tutorial's.
after these you need to purchase a bike in the shop.
You need to collect rings in a game mode to use as money for the shop
Once you buy a bike, it will unlock the bike tutorial, finish these and the achievement will be your's.
The bike is easier to use than the board but it doesn't feel as fast, you can also sit down whilst using the bike so you can rest those tierd legs.
You do need to be standing for it to track your arms but once you are in the mini cone turning thing, once your there you can sit down but keep your arms out as you sit down, so it can still see you, works fine for me and im like 10 feet away from the sensor whilst sitting
