How to unlock the Supersonic! achievement in Sonic Generations - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement, You have to Clear a regular stage as Super Sonic.

To do this you MUST first complete the game once. Then after completing it, you'll unlock Super Sonic as a skill for Classic sonic and for Modern Sonic. Simply head to the skill shop and equip it (skill points req.100) and head to green hill zone(or your favorite I did it on green hill) Gather 50 rings and the option to press the Y button and turn super sonic will appear. BUT you have to finish the level as Super Sonic. When you Super Sonic your rings reduce and as super sonic(modern) if you choose to boost your Rings reduce faster.. So to insure you do this I would wait till just about the end of the level to go Super Sonic.

Thanks to redjarman for pointing out that Modern Sonics rings reduce faster, and thanks to HarrySon9 for clearing up that you don't have to buy it.

Also should add that if they want to do this as Modern Sonic, his rings drain faster when you boost. Otherwise it's pretty much the same

You don't have to buy the skill when you beat the game it gives it to you, the thing you bought was the time stop

got it before I defeated the last boss by collecting all 7 u get super sonic regardless but thanks for the tip about modern sonics rings :)

Supersonic!
To get this achievement you need to clear the game to get the Super Sonic skill. Then you can go to the skill shop and equip the skill and go to any stage Act 1 or 2 and clear the stage as Super Sonic. It's even better if you play some fitting music (Sonic Boom or Super Sonic Racing). Do this and the achievement should show.

after you get the stuff use modern sonic on green hill to make it easier and remember that you can fly

1. Complete entire game campaign. This will automatically reward you with SuperSonic customization.

2. Go to Omochoa and talk to him (skill shop)

3. Choose Skill Customization rather than Skill Shop.

4. Choose a Skill set (I chose skill set A)

5. Choose Customize0

6. In the grid choose the Left Top space. Put the "Super Sonic" option into this space.

7. Choose Confirm

8. Back all the way out of the shop and go play Green Hill Act 1 or 2.

9. Collect 50 rings and you will see the option to press Y to activate supersonic.

10. Right after the winding bridge near the very end of the level press Y to activate Super Sonic.

11. Cross the finish line as Super Sonic.

12. Watch achievement pop and take a sip of the drink of your choice as a celebration.

For this trophy you must complete at Stage as Super Sonic. You will obtain the skill for Super Sonic after you have beaten the game once. Select Skill Customization at the Skill Shop or press during pre-stage select. Select any skill slot and put Super Sonic on the slot, confirm the change with and then equip the slot if it is not already equipped. Go into any level (GREEN HILL Act 1 being the easiest and fastest) and follow the path you took to the get Greased Lightning. Once you get 50 rings press and you will transform into Super Sonic. At this point your rings will slowly start depleting so make your way to the finish while in Super Sonic form for your trophy.
