Desert Runner - 15G (Original Achievement)
Difficulty: 4/10
Sandopolis is the 3rd Zone in the game and this achievement can be obtained while playing as Sonic or Knuckles. The boss is a Sphinx like statue that will appear on the right side of the large room and will crawl towards you slowly. It can fire lasers too so obviously dodge them. To deal damage, simply jump on the Sphinx's paws and then jump up and hit its face, This will reveal Robotnik underneath and allow you to hit him.

This is a story based achievement, and will unlock as soon as the scores screen comes up after finishing Act 2 of the Sandopolis Zone.
Can be obtained playing as either Sonic or Knuckles.

If you get stuck on an endless loop on the slides in the dark (as I did), hit the centre pivotal point of the moving platform to unlock the next opening.
