Note: Taking a hit whilst using a shield still counts as taking a hit.
You MUST finish Act 1 entirely, including the boss.
This can be done before you beat the story, but I recommend that you do so before trying this.
Quick and simple:
- Get all seven chaos emeralds
- Select the Titanic Monarch stage
- Carefully progress until you have 50 rings
- Transform into Super Sonic and maintain it until stage completion
The achievement will unlock once you defeat the boss.
I tried using a shield before writing this solution and I only ended up annoying myself haha.

After you got all Emeralds, go to your save and select Titanic Monarch Zone Act 1.
Play easy until you get 50 rings, activate Super Sonic by pressing jump 2 times, enjoy.

You can still get crushed as SS, I may have done this once :p
Getting "hit" from the eggcar crashing doesn't count as a hit.
There's a shield at the start of the level, but if you're shielded it seems you can't go super, so don't pick it up.

Unlocked it you are not allowed to restart if you Go wrong you must exit level and
restart level.

Hi, found the solution. The Achievement bugs out if you access any bonus stages any checkpoints(when you pass a CP with more than 25 rings), just keep running and ignore the bonus stage.

Super Sonic may be used and the trophy still counts!
So, what I did was play and replay this act, geting used to the structure of the level; then I started to colect as many rings as possible till the midle part of the level and avoiding item boxes with any type of shields, because, as soon as you get Super Sonic and touch some enemy or spikes, you "lose" the shield (even if you dont get any damage). Also, avoid jumping on the bonus levels at all costs.
If done correctly, the trophy will pop after you defeat the boss at the end of the stage.

This can be attained on the first act of Titanic Monarch Zone by completing the level without taking any damage. It is best to have unlocked Super Sonic prior to attempting this (by collecting all 7 Chaos Emeralds).
As regular Sonic you cannot access any special stages via the Starposts or take any damage whatsoever, even being hit whilst in possession of a shield will void this achievement. With that in mind collect 50 Rings and press Y to activate Super Sonic which will grant you limited invincibility (you can still be crushed with spikes or walls).
Your Ring counter will decrease by 1 every second you are Super Sonic so it is advisable to collect an Electricity Shield which makes Rings float towards you.

This trophy is earned on Titanic Monarch Zone Act 1.
This trophy requires you to beat the first act of the final level without taking a single hit! This includes losing a Shield. Even though you aren't actually taking damage when it breaks, it still counts as a hit on you.
However, if you use Super Sonic/Tails/Knuckles, it’s a breeze! In order to use a Super character, you must have all Chaos Emeralds and you must also play in Mania Mode (as Time Trial Mode doesn’t allow Supers).
The best thing to do is take the level really slow at first. There’s really only 1 part near the beginning that can hurt you, and that’s the electrified wires that run up and down. If you make it past this part, the next little bit has almost no hazards or enemies.
After running around a bit and using the purple black holes to launch yourself upwards, you’ll see the first pig enemy on a flat landing. You should have around 60-80 rings at this point, and this is where you will activate your Super power (press jump twice). Be warned that if Sonic has a Shield equipped, you cannot use Super Sonic, so don’t pick up the Shield near the beginning! Tails/Knuckles are unaffected as they can use the Super power even if they have Shields on. Update: The 1.03 patch allows you to use Super characters by pressing 
once you have 50 rings, so you can now activate the ability with a Shield equipped!
From this point you can rush through as fast as you want and nothing will stop you except for one area…
There will be a small section where a single long platform with spikes will move up and down. You need to take this part extremely slowly, as there are a few spots where you can get crushed by the spikes and die immediately (happened to me many times)!
After passing that part, you’re free to move as fast as possible with no repercussions!
Since you’ll be in Mania Mode, you will also have to fight the boss, but with Super Sonic, you can just keep jumping into him until he dies, so you shouldn’t need to worry.
Once the level is done and you did so without taking damage, the trophy will pop!
I should note that if you do take damage, you cannot press “Restart Game” from the pause menu. You must quit the game and reselect the final level through level select, or else the game will still think you’ve taken damage. Also when riding the railcars, even though Sonic makes a hurt animation when they stop, you don’t actually take damage so this is ok!
