Stingers are the Bee/Wasp type enemies found in Emerald Hill Acts 1 and 2

Start in Anniversary Mode. At the title screen, enter the stage select cheat: Up Up Up Down Down Down Left Right Left Right. After you hear a chime, press 
and you'll be taken to the stage select screen (if the gameplay demo starts, you were too slow and will have try again.)
Go to the sound test option and select sounds 01, 09, 09, 02, 01, 01, 02, 04. If done right, you'll hear another chime.
Now select the Emerald Hill Zone.
Press
to enter debug mode. Press 
to switch between different assets that can be placed in game. You want the flying, robotic bug thing. With that selected, press 
to create one on the map. It'll fly around a bit, but don't worry. Spawn 10 of the buggers and then smash them.
Then you must finish the level and the achievement will pop.

The Stinger looks like THIS. They appear in Emerald Hill Zone. This is cumulative. To save achievement progress, you have to finish the level. You can also spawn them in debug mode. Refer to the roadmap for doing so.
Note that you can only spawn these in Emerald Hill Zone (any Act), and that the achievement won't unlock until you complete the stage. So, spawn them in, destroy them all, then beat the stage to unlock this achievement.

Stingers, or Buzzers, are the bee-looking enemies found in Emerald Hill Zone. For this trophy you must defeat 10 of them. They only count AFTER finishing the act, so make sure you complete the act after defeating the 10th one. This carries over between playthroughs, so if you do not get it initially just restart the game and continue defeating Stingers/Buzzers until you have 10, then finish the act.
