How to unlock the Cleared Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles achievement in Sonic Origins - Definitive Guide

Do this in Anniversary Mode (so you can unlock Mirror Mode later).

On the title screen, enter the Stage Select cheat. Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up.

Go to Doomsday Zone. No Debug mode necessary for this one.

This stage is played as Super Sonic (Super Tails or Super Knuckles). Grab as many rings as you can during the first part.

For the first fight against the Final Weapon, lure its homing missiles towards the head of the ship.

The second fight does not start until you go full speed forward, so take your time to restock on rings. Once you actually do start the fight, dash into the ship 8 times to finish it off.

Achievement unlocks after end credits.

For anyone struggling, get as many rings as you can at all times. For the second half of the fight, try to have at least 15 rings before you do the dash attack.

Enter the level select code on the title screen:

This game doesn't put you into the level select immediately, but spawns a menu option sound test in the main menu. Play these sounds in the sound test in order to unlock debug mode:

01, 09, 09, 04, 01, 00, 01, 08

Enter debug mode by pressing button-x.png. The controls are:

button-a.png cycle through items
button-y.png place item
button-x.png exit debug

Start from either Death Egg Zone B (bad ending) or Doomsday Zone (good ending) and beat the respective bosses. You can only use debug mode in Death Egg Zone, but in Doomsday Zone you are Super Sonic anyway, so choose whatever style fits you best.
