- If you have preordered the game, you'll be granted with 100 coins
- Finish a mission in Mission Mode (depends on your rank, you get some bonus coins for a first completion)
- Complete a Boss Rush (25 coins)
- Get 100 rings in any game (1 coin - Anniversary or Story only)
- Find a "Coin" TV in any game (former "Extra Life" TV) (1 coin - Anniversary or Story only)
- Finish a Special Stage in any game (3 coins - Anniversary or Story only)

This achievement didn’t unlock for me until I actively viewed/listened to the piece of content I bought with coins.

Fanta, Morgana
You need five coins to unlock a premium item in the museum. Where extra lives were in the original games, Anniversary mode gives you coins instead. Also play Mission Mode to earn coins.

You can use coins gained from Anniversary Mode and Missions to purchase premium collection items from the museum. After purchasing one, simply view it to obtain this trophy.
