How to unlock the Creature of the Night achievement in SONIC UNLEASHED - Definitive Guide

To get this simply score an S ranking with Werehog Sonic.

I highly recommend the Windmill Isle Act 2 Stage (Hidden behind a door in the Apotos Entrance Stage) as it is a big arena with lots of enemies to kill.

Make sure you kill any enemies that come and also open every door surrounding the arena to not only solve the puzzle to finish the level but to also get some goodies along the way.

The most important thing though is that you don't die, don't take too many hits and destroy as many enemies as you can before finishing - don't worry about time limits.

Just get an S Rank in ANY werehog stage.
I recommend Dragon Road Act 1.
You can skip a LOT of it's combat. I think there are just 2 mandatory encounters and there is the dragon path that is pretty easy to get to and skips encounters. I recommend going as fast as you can an kill all the enemies in the end of the stage. (Before the final door)

I unlocked this on Arid Sands Act 2, but I recommend Jungle Joyride Act 2 instead. Unlike many of the earlier levels there are very few hazardous jumps over bottomless pits. There's one ramp and the bit with the waterfalls, but other than that it's a very straightforward level.

On Arid Sands there's too many areas where it's easy to die thanks to the fire wizards. I died at the checkpoint before the door with the four colored keys, so there's enough points in the level after that checkpoint to get the S Rank provided you don't die after that checkpoint.

Same as before just with Sonic the Werehog. If you're good at the tightrope platforming sections, an easy level to S rank is in Mazuri, Savannah Citadel Act 2.
- Get under 3 minutes (I finished with 02:42:04)
- Try destroy all the enemies (there's one of the big one's at the end though)
- Collect all the rings in your path but don't try to get all of them as you may fall off/take too much time

I managed 164,486 on this stage, netting another achievement.

Windmill Isle Act 2 is quite an easy level to S rank also, just destroy every enemy and object you see (as well as the hidden doors) and you should get it. A good strategy for quickly dealing with enemies is to use your Special Attacks - holding either of the triggers and just mashing or . You may need high Combat skill for this though.

A few video guides I made--hope they help! As bad as it sounds, it's a good idea to restart if you die--adding up points from the beginning instead of a recent checkpoint will--obviously--net you a higher score.

Similar to the "Getting the Hang of Things" trophy, but this time with Sonic the Werehog. Getting this trophy is actually easier to get. Just kill almost every enemy you see and don't die throughout the level and this trophy is yours. The key is that you DON'T die. But honestly, don't replay a single level for this trophy until you have completed the story. If you still haven't got the trophy by then, replay the level "Windmill Isle Night Act 1".

To begin with, it would be better to thoroughly improve the Werewolf's skills.

The trophy is similar to the one described above, but now you need to do the same for the Werewolf. If you handle the Werewolf levels well enough, you should have no problem getting an "S" rating in Mazuri, Savannah Citadel, Act 2. To do this you need:
  • Complete a level in less than 3 minutes.
  • Try to destroy all enemies.
  • Try to collect all the rings that you meet on the way, but don’t be greedy and don’t try to get those rings that are not on your way, because of them you may fall or lose too much time.
