You can get this once you have access to any demon with a "Ma-" spell but as the party becomes higher level and can fuse higher level demons, you will both want these spells more, and they will be more powerful. It doesn't necessarily have to be a weakness for the target demons, it just has to not Repel/Null/Drain.
If you want to get this early, you could try and set it up if you find a battle with 4 or more enemies. Get them to low health, then guard until you get the character with the appropriate spell, use it and hope it kills them. Mistiques on the character can buff the damage for a particular element if needed.
If you haven't unlocked this by late game, you can use a really easy method. You should have a demon(s) with a Ma-dyne spell by now. Against low level enemies, this should steamroll them no problem, the hard part is finding a battle with enough targets. Being on lower difficulties will also help, as everything will deal more damage.
