Go to Character Creation in the Main Menu, then choose the picture with the two characters within the square (one has pinkish/purple hair and the other has a green shirt with what looks like a pirate hat). This square is to the left of the empty/blank one and to the right of Siegfried.

In Create a Character mode, select the character icon with the Green haired male and pink haired female. Create a custom character, exit and save. You'll need to do this to work on some of the harder TOLS floors anyway.
