This can be unlocked by fighting against Yoda online
To unlock this achievement in single player you need to play the Arcade Mode as The Apprentice.
To Unlock The Apprentice you need to complete the Arcade mode with Yoda.
Otherwise you can unlock this by playing against someone online who picks Yoda.
You do not need to win just fight against him.

You will encounter Yoda in arcade mode when you play as The Apprentice (who is unlocked by completing arcade mode with Yoda). Can be done online if your opponent chooses Yoda as well.

There are two ways to unlock this achievement:
1) Play against Yoda in an online match
- Not many people are playing this game online nowadays. Even if you do come across a match, it's unlikely that your opponent will be playing as Yoda. So unless you have a friend to help you out with this, you may have better luck with method 2.
2) Play against Yoda in Arcade mode
- In order to play against Yoda in Arcade mode, you'll first have to complete Arcade mode playing as Yoda to unlock The Apprentice.
- Arcade mode consists of 8 stages. If you lose on any stage, you can retry that stage without having to completely start over. Once you beat Arcade mode with Yoda, you'll unlock The Apprentice as well as
- Now, play Arcade mode again, but this time choose The Apprentice as your fighter. The Yoda fight is stage 7. Whether you win or lose, the achievement will pop once the first player is K.O.'d.
