How to unlock the Gathering of the Best achievement in Soulcalibur IV - Definitive Guide

When you have bought all of the characters, and unlocked the 5 bonus characters, go to the Museum option in the Main Menu, select Chain of Souls and the achievement is unlocked.

Bonus Characters: (Complete Stage 3 of Story Mode with Certain characters to encounter one of these)

Shura (Ivy, Taki, Raphale, Setsuka, Seon Mi-Na, Cervantes, Kamikirimusi)
Ashlotte (Astaroth, Maxi, Lizardman, Sophitia, Rock, Talim, Angol Fear)
Kamikirimusi (Xianghua, Tira, Cassandra, Mitsurugi, Amy, Yun-Seong, Shura)
Angol Fear (Kilik, Algol, Zasalamel, The Apprentice, Scheherazade)
Scheherazade (Voldo, Hilde, Nightmare, Siegfried, Yoshimitsu, Yoda, Ashlotte)

Are you a joke? I could of grabbed this from a bunch of sites. It could of been ConsoleHeroes, x360a, a360p, GameFaqs. But I didn't. I did this myself. Unlike some people who do Copy and Paste stuff from x360a. And yet you accuse me of copying off of a website. Im sorry that if I actually sit through a game, playing and writing stuff down for achievement descriptions.

i got this after beating the game with the apprentce and went into it but maybe it varys between ppl

We have all of the characters unlocked except the apprentice. How do we unlock the apprentice for the chain of souls?

You unlock the Apprentice by beating arcade mode with Yoda.

  • Buy all the greyed out characters in Create a Character mode
  • Unlock 5 Bonus characters by completing Story mode (see below)
  • Complete Arcade mode with Yoda to unlock The Apprentice
  • Go to Museum > Chain of Souls and exit
