How to unlock the Start of a New Era achievement in Soulcalibur IV - Definitive Guide

This is the 'Start of a New Era' achievement. For this you have to watch the opening cut-scene and press start when the game tells you to. You should get this achievement once you are in the main menu.

Just a note that this will not unlock until you've watched the entire opening cinematic and pressed start at the main menu. Interrupting the cut-scene and starting the game will not unlock this.

Just in case people are struggling with this one, it's now been reported that you don't have to eat chips while attempting this.

all you have to do for this achievement is watch the intro video in the beginning while the game is loading it is a kind of long video though

Watch the opening cutscene.

You have to watch the whole thing once you boot the game up and then press start when it asks you to. If you let it run past that bit, you won't get the achievement. The achievement then pops once you hit the main menu.
