An important thing to point out here is, to unlock this achievement you need to play on all the stages. BUT you dont have all the stages :o you unlock a stage called see saw, by completing the requirements in level 14 (guard impact more than 3 times) acendeing the tower of lost souls. Then go and play on it. Or if your lucky online somone who has it will select it :p

Is that the only map you don't have to play online? Or are there any other maps you need to unlock to pick online?

Ive beaten this in story mode with everyone... I did the challenge for 14 in TOLS.. But I don't have all the maps unlocked... I'm still missing 6 of the maps while in multiplayer. It's odd. I'm using two accounts to boost the online, my second account always gets to choose the map, so maybe that's the problem? if so. how can i fix this without having to unlock all those maps with the 2nd account?

I figured it out. I had all the maps unlocked, but I was hosting the games with my main account. And the dummy got to pick the map every game.. So if you run into this problem just have your dummy host the game and your main account will be able to choose all the maps when selecting before the fight.

I couldn't find this mentioned anywhere and I'm still not really sure how to unlock the second star wars map: bridge overhang. I either did it in arcade mode with Yoda, or after unlocking the apprentice in story mode. Didn't get a pop-up at the end of either modes but it was unlocked after one of those two completions.

To get all the maps you need to complete the story mode with all the characters, and complete the Treasure challenge thing on floor 14.(Get 3 impacts, these can also be Just Impacts or any combination of the 2).

The maps that you need to complete are:

Ostrheinsburg Castle Throne Room
Ice Coffin of the Sleeping Ancient
Wolfkrone Monument
Phantom Pavilion
Phantom Pavilion ~ Seesaw (Requires lvl 14 TOLS Treasure)
Sailor's Rest
Grand Labyrinth ~ Corridor of Supsended Time
Jyurakudai Villa ~ Virgin Snow
Ostrheinsburg Castle ~ Twilight
Egyptian Temple ~ Sacred Flame
Kunpaetku Shrine ~ Dream Remnants
Tower of Remembrance ~ Ancient Gate
Tower of Remembrance ~ Spiral of Time
Tower of Remembrance ~ Degradation
Tower of Remembrance ~ Encounter
Star Destroyer Docking Bay ~ Bridge Overhang
Star Destroyer Docking Bay ~ Laser Gates
Hall of the Warrior God
Distant Marsh
Thesmophoros' Imperial Garden

For a grand total of 20 maps. Have Fun!

Edit: For me, the maps that i did not complete seemed to have a N by them. Its not exactly accurate, but its a good way to tell what you are missing

Edit 2: There are a total of 21 maps, but one IS FROM DLC. DLC does not count towards this achievement. If you buy Darth Vader then the Star Destroyer Docking Bay - Loading Platform will unlock for you. (Thanks to UrbanAdvantage)

I just wanted to add that there is a third star wars map called "Star Destroyer Docking Bay-Loading Platform." This would make it 21 maps including this and Seesaw. Because at this point I have all three Star Wars maps and not the Seesaw map and when I count I currently have 20. So there must be a total of 21.

I've just unlocked Seesaw and confirmed that there are in fact 21 stages. The next thing I wanted to say is that completing story mode with every character I believe is not necessary. I don't remember doing this and I have all the stages and just unlocked the "World Traveler" achievement. If you got this achievement without the "Loading Platform" stage then it appears that this stage or all the Star Wars stages are not required for the achievement. Someone needs to confirm this. I'm going to vote negative untill this is changed so that bad information isn't passed around. PM me when fixed and I'll gladly change it. No hard feelings.

I have not played Soul Calibur in a very long time, but i believe my guide is accurate. I just looked up the map you mentioned, and it is only unlocked if you buy Yoda or Darth Vader. So you are technically right, but you do NOT need that map for the achievement. I will include this into my guide.

Correcion, You buy Yoda if you have the PS3 version. Xbox 360 has to buy Darth Vader for that map.

How I unlocked the 6 no default stages,
So.. the other solutions don't have the exactly requirements for the story stages

Tower of Remembrance - Ancient Gate Beat story with Xianghua (before this story mode I did with Yoda. I don't know if affects something to unlock or just need to be with Xianghua)
Tower of Remembrance - Spiral of Time Beat story with Seigfried
Tower of Remembrance - Degradation Beat story with Nightmare
Tower of Remembrance - Encounter Beat story with Voldo

Star Destroyer Docking Bay - Bridge Overhang Beat arcade mode with Yoda to unlock The Apprentice and his stage

Phantom Pavilion - Seesaw Treasure from floor 14 of ascend the tower of lost souls, I used normal Mitsurugi back

You unlock stages as you complete story mode, so play through story mode with all characters first to make sure you have all stages unlocked.
