How to unlock the Globetrotter achievement in SOULCALIBUR VI - Definitive Guide
In the last city there is an item for sale called "Exorcist's Peridot (superb)" that reduces the chance of encounters by 100%. If you're still in need of this achievement and you haven't got it through normal gameplay (and you might trigger it doing the 30 astral fissure closures), buy a few and plot a long "explore surrounding area" route. Try to avoid mountains otherwise it'll cost loads so the mid map travelling to top right corner is good. Once you select the route it'll ask you if you want to use the item so click it and enjoy an encounter free trip :-)

Is this cumulative across playthroughs?

I had a mission in Scotland (upper left of the map, Northern point of Britain), which would let me travel through to central Japan for only 2,860 Gold per trip. This added 2,564.12lea per trip (the achievement requires a total of 25,000lea). I didn't complete the mission, but just went back and forth between the two a few times. Make sure to use the Exorcist's Peridot on each trip, because you will be ambushed to death otherwise...

Max out Feendorf’s level, so you can buy a few “Exorcist's Peridot (superb)”, which reduces the chance of encounters by 100%. Next, make sure you are on one of the ends of the map (east or west), and set an expedition to the opposite end (try to avoid mountains, if you want to keep the expedition cheaper). When you are about to depart, the game will ask you if you want to use an item. Pick one of the “Exorcist's Peridot (superb)” you bought. Now do this a few more times and the trophy will be yours!

The trophy is cumulative.
The distance traveled (requiring monetary expenses) from the “story path” to side quests and then to other quests is taken into account.

It is better to do it after it becomes possible to close astral rifts (at the end of Chapter 5), where they give 10,000-15,000 for defeating each enemy (You still need to close 30 rifts). When you have enough money, select the most distant point on the map from the main path (the most expensive trip cost me 16,000), use the thing with a 100% probability of not meeting anyone, repeat this until you receive the trophy, it will drop out quickly enough.

Ferndorf store, the item is called “exorcist peridot” (meeting chance -100%), price 3,000 coins, travel from point to point without interrupting the expedition and using the item each time
