How to unlock the Invasive Tumor Removal achievement in South Park: The Fractured but Whole - Definitive Guide

Cousin Kyle can be a bit of pain to beat, but having Mysterion in your party is a real money maker. His second ultimate attack (after he's been killed) will resurrect him and heal your adjacent allies for a significant amount. Cousin Kyle is vulnerable to bleeding and defense down, but immune to just about everything else.

Nice exploit, BStringbean! Thanks for the addition!

BStringbean, your comment is THE solution. Lining them up in a horizontal row makes this fight a cakewalk. Beware not to use Mysterion's ultimate because it resurrects him!

My setup: Hero (triple burst), Call Girl, Mysterion, Prof Chaos

Has this been patched? It doesn't seem to work at all.

I cannot get this method to work at all. I'm on my sixth or seventh try and nothing is working.

EDIT: Finally got it. What a pain

So I just beat the game, and did beat this guy in the proces. But I did not the achievement, is this achievement known to be laggy? I don't have any saves near this fight, is there a possibility to re do the missions?

The POS was kicking the crap out of my team every time I was trying to do the BStringbean setup. I found that (although it took longer), I was able to hide 1 character behind a dead Mysterion and the strategy still worked. It just took a little longer since only had 1 character hitting him. Thanks for the strategy though as I was struggling to beat him before I read it.

The Mysterion glitch definitely does work, although it took about 20 times.

Anyone have a video of how they did this? I’m running into issues trying this. Thanks

I want to confirm that this is working 2021 I got Call girl and my character in the far right corner I purposely killed Kenny and got him in the front square near cousin Kyle's Left leg and he couldn't move on my characters as long as you leave Kenny as a ghost you can beat on him and win.

Still works as of 4/3/22. Took 4 tries for me to get them lined up on the right. Had dead Mysterion lined up on the second row from the top, lined up with the tour guide. Worked like a charm with that set up.

Still works as of May 22. You don’t even need to get them to the right side. He kept avoiding using that move that flings your characters there so I just set them up (with one character down) and hoped for the best and it worked!

This is the worst fight in the game. Massively stacked against you. Without this method in the comments, which I can't get to work, I don't think I will get this done.

Mysterion provides a major exploit in this fight if you can line things up. It is a cheese solution and works really well. You'll need Mysterion, ranged skills if you have them (laser, fireball) and ranged fighters (Human Kite, Call Girl).

When the fight starts work on quickly getting your party in 2 horizontal rows of 2 directly in front of the mutant. The mutant will then move towards you and push most of the party to the right side of the screen (occasionally only 3/4 of my party would make it).

At this point, work as quickly as possible to arrange your party into a single file horizontal line with Mysterion in front. Let Mysterion die and do not revive him. Have the rest of the party stay in line behind Ghost Mysterion and take ranged shots. Use the day/night cycle fart power when prompted.

When I did this, the mutant would not even attack; it would skip its turn every time. My guess is that the AI only reads Ghost Mysterion and has no means to attack him, so the AI opts to skip a turn.

Hope this helps if you're struggling.

Story based, unmissable. If you do not wish to spoil the game, just play thru the game and you will get this before you finish the story campaign. If you are a little curious, open Mini Spoiler but don't open Big Spoiler.

Story related, can not be missed.

At the end of the fourth night, you will have defeat the Kyle 2 Genetic Mutation (AKA Kyle's cousin who has been massively mutated). He is a huge enemy with a ton of health that occupies a large portion of the battle grid. This can make moving around him difficult but it also makes hitting him easier as well. The main issue with the majority of the battle is that he doesn't take a lot of damage normally and does a ton when he attacks. His main attack is where he moves towards a group of your characters, jumps in the air while shoot down a laser from his eyes and then lands on them causing damage to a zone area around where hits causing high damage. After he does that he will start spraying blood out from his nose all over the place which can cause gross out status effects to anyone within it's area. His other attack is where he will bounce across the screen in a straight line smashing your characters for heavy damage. During this time frame you want to attack as much as you can but also focus on healing yourselves so that you do not die from the next attack. Your character is the most important one that needs to survive during this period so keep him alive. Don't use your ultimate yet as you will be better off saving it for a bit.

After a few attacks, he will call for a time out and your team comes together to say you can't defeat him until the sun comes out because his skin can't handle it. Once he says he's ready again, you will be able to use the time change TimeFart to change it to day time by holding and and then pressing up ( + ) on both analogue sticks. When it turns to day, he will begin putting on suntan lotion in order to protect his skin and a meter will appear at the bottom of the screen showing his progress of applying it. During this time his defense will be dramatically weaker and you can do some very high damage to him so go all out on attacking with everything you have and making sure to use your Ultimate as well. Once he finishes applying his sunscreen, the battle reverts back to how it was before with his defense being higher and him doing his attacks. Just keep doing what you did before during this part until you get to the next chance to change it back to night again. When it turns to night, he will stop again to wipe all the sunscreen off and another meter at the bottom will show the progress.

Just keep attacking him and healing yourself as you go through the battle, focusing on doing as much damage as possible during the sunscreen on/off time frames. Once you deplete his energy completely, he will move to the upper right corner and you must do a QTE type thing to finish him off with one last fart. After you finish him and the day/night ends, the trophy will pop.

Story trophy, boss with 9999hp. Loves to hit AoE. The tactics are simple - we change the time when necessary, and the boss becomes vulnerable to the night, at which time very strong damage occurs.

We will receive the trophy after winning this battle.

Add a call girl to your team, run in different directions, don’t forget to use a clone from the past, stock up on revival and health restoration. This boss is not as difficult as it seems.
