Whilst I'd like to say I ardently strode through endless waves of the Xenos filth, heroically vanquishing them with deft strokes of my mighty Mace of Absolution, I did not. Without any ranged weaponry acquisition of this trophy requires a more tactile approach.
I did this solo as most online players are mission orientated and in my experience the requirement to get to level 7 cannot be done before mission completion. Just for clarity in the customization options I had Armour Boost/Bonus 20 and the Resilient Perk. The need for these may be negated by using the method described below as it limits the opportunity to attack, thus minimizing the damage you would ordinarily take.
Select multiplayer from the top menu, host your own game and turn off the codex rules. Select easy difficulty, Chapter 2 from the campaign and the required assault loadout is the Mace of Absolution, then enter the space hulk. From your starting point there are two exits from the chamber, head toward the door on the left side. Operate the door to open it, close it once through and then seal it off. The corridor you've entered will turn right where directly ahead is a pipe outlet for genestealers to pour out from, this is where you'll position yourself. Before that however take out the genestealer hybrids with the ranged weaponry situated in and above the corridor the right hand turn leads you to. The concussive force from the maces explosions will make short work of the ones higher up, simply land your blows as close as you can.
Once dispatched head back to the pipe, position yourself against the hatch on the left hand side of it and aim directly into it. The genestealers that emerge from it will be unable to attack you initially as they must first stand upright, so get your blows in. Keep making noise by striking the hatch, this gives away your position and entices more of the creatures to seek you out.
The bio-blast genestealers which make the acquisition of this trophy so difficult for solo players don't emerge from this particular entry point, so the R1 button to raise your shield in protection should be redundant. If you have placed yourself in the right place, with the curvature of the hatch visible in front of you then no genestealers should assail you from the corridor itself. Simply stand there, kill everything that emerges and the trophy should be yours.
I've no doubt the other trophies of this ilk for each of the character classes could be farmed using this approach, however an alternative strategy is available in the Epistolary Trophy section.
