As you progress through the game your team members will all receive 2 special abilities unlocked via the story. In the upgrades menu you can spend credits earned to purchase up to 3 upgrades for each ability. Once you have completely upgraded both abilities there is a 7th bonus perk to buy. Purchasing all 7 on any team member will unlock the trophy.
