Each area will have a friend to rescue. Teddy is found in the Goldenwoods region, you will find him in a cage surrounded by enemies. Take out all the enemies to free the big guy from his cage! Due to the games RNG, it is impossible to say exactly where to find him, but explore enough and you will stumble upon him eventually!
Mendel
Teddy can be found somewhere inside of a cage in the Goldenwood. Because the map is procedurally generated, it's impossible to pinpoint his location but you should be able to find him by exploring the Goldenwood in your first few tries. You'll need to defeat the enemies on screen, then you can free Teddy.
