Each area will have a friend to rescue. Corwin is found in the Acid Bogs region, you will find him in a cave where he has seemingly become lost. Due to the games RNG, it is impossible to say exactly where to find him, but explore enough and you will stumble upon him eventually!
Mendel
Corwin is hiding in a cave somewhere in the Acid Bog portion of the map. Because the map is procedurally generated, there's no way of pinpointing him on the map but it shouldn't take you long to find him after visiting the Acid Bog a few times. There will be a handful of enemies on the screen near a hole in the ground and after defeating the enemies, you can go down and talk to Corwin for the trophy.
