How to unlock the Rejected by Hell achievement in Spartacus Legends - Definitive Guide

Pretty easy this one even if I did take a beating to earn it. Simply be executed in a fight and you will be offered the chance to bring your gladiator back from the dead. This will cost 500 silver apparently so resurrection seems to have been pretty cheap back in roman times.

Remember simply losing a fight is not enough to do this you must be executed for it to work. Video below showing how I died after a tough fight and then buying my life back for a mere 500 silvers.

The first revive is completely free apparently, but after that you will need 500 coins and after that I am guessing the price rises.

Edit: Okay so I am told by HyruleBalverine in the comment section below that there is no longer a free revive also the amount of silver has been increased to 1500 coins. If anyone would like to help confirm this please message me or comment below.

Being brought back the first time is free with with character, after that it starts at 500 silver and scales up from there each time you choose to bring them back!

I still recommend having coins just incase I'd rather have them and not need them.

If you revive them it should be a case of them not disappearing at all. Potential glitch? Assuming you revived him and can't get him back.

It's good to have a guide for this one because at least I thought that once the guy was dead he was gone for good.lol

I got the achievement but when I went back to the stable place it only had my original dude, the empty spot where my dead guy should be and the other spots I hadn't unlocked yet

motley gunner was your gladiator one of the legendary gold named ones. Because if it was they cannot be brought back.

Is there a difference between execution and slaughter? I've let my guy get demolished time and time again, but it keeps giving me the free revival.

So, the cost of this seems to have changed. I just had my first one die and it's costing me 1,500 silver to revive him.

I can second what J3S is saying. Died last night playing Community boss, revival did not cost me 1500. I have never died other than that time so I never used a "free revival"

I thought it cost me 500 to revive though, not 100. I wasn't watching closely, but I know It wasn't 1500.

Conditions changed again. Now you only need to spend 350 silver to revive your gladiator.

To add to the above, it appears that there is a cheaper route to getting this achievement done.

I played the game for the first time yesterday, and, after getting executed while attempting the community boss fight, I was only charged 100 silver to revive my so-called gladiator. This would mean that either...

a) A recent title update lowered revival fees
b) Revival fees are reduced for community events
c) Revival fees are reduced to 100 silver for newcomers to the game

My guess would be c as it wouldn't make much sense to charge a newcomer 1500 silver for a revival if they're only given 200 silver to start out with. Whatever the case may be, it would seem that making this the very first achievement you go for could very well save you some coinage.

Make sure it is not one of the legendary gladiators with the Gold names that are the "final bosses" for each city. those gladiators do not come back from the dead when they are killed. So be careful if you buy one not to get him killed!

Unobtainable due to server closure

You are bound you have you gladiator die once so once that happens revive them and this trophy should unlock. The first time you gladiator dies you can save it for free. After words the second cost 500 silver, the third cost 2000 silver, and the fourth cost 4 gold and so forth. In the long run sense gold is hard enough to come by is suggested to not even use it for reviving. Should be worth worth noting that if you gladiator died but hasn't died in a long time it can how ever be revived for free again.

You can say it's a story achievement, you'll definitely get it for completing the main campaign. In order for your character to be killed, the enemy needs to completely fill the madness scale (reminiscent of an ear of corn). The first resurrection (for the same gladiator) costs 500 silver, the second 2000, the third 4 gold.

Legendary gladiators cannot be resurrected.
