Spectral Force 3

To recruit Chris, you need to complete the mission "Because it's Midnight".

Mission requirements: The Espiloia Knights are destroyed.

Recruitment requirements: Chris does not reach the throne; Chris does not retreat.

Once you have unlocked the mission, complete it without Chris retreating. Chris is the enemy leader, however, which makes this a bit of a sticky-wicket. You will begin the mission on the throne platform. For as long as you can, keep the enemies off the platform all together, and use your ranged units to try and take out as many archers and mages as you can. Be aware that enemies can come over the sides of the platform, as well as up the two steps in front. Once you can no longer keep them off the platform, quickly form a box around the throne (the four red map squares) and just hang on until turn 10. Keep up with healing and remember not to hit Chris. If he retreats, you will lose your chance to recruit him, so just endure his attacks and heal as best you can.

The achievement will unlock after you have saved your game.
