To recruit Gyufee II, you need to complete the mission "The Hope of a Kingdom".
Mission requirements: Complete the mission "Unidentified Monsters 2.
Recruitment requirements: Gyufee II does not retreat.
Once you have unlocked the mission, simply complete it without Gyufee retreating. Gyufee will appear about half way through the mission at the far corner of the map. This one can be a bit tricky as reinforcements appear near Gyufee and head straight for him. Be sure to take the shortcut across the river to reach him in time, so he won't be forced to retreat.
The achievement will not unlock until you save your game.
