This achievement is for getting an S rank in a battle. The exact requirements for this aren't really known, but the running theory is combo hits and damage.
The popular stage to do this on is the stage "Destroy Underworld Army". Tons of enemies spawn in waves, just asking to be comboed to death. I personally used a stage you get really late in the game, called Hiyokos something (been awhile since I've played it so I don't really remember). It's basically just like the previously mentioned stage, except you can redo it if you don't get an S rank. Also, you'll need more than one S rank to get the proper mercenary rank to unlock some of the characters for achievements, so I'd ignore DUA.
Every character has 3 special moves they learn, and the last one is typically the best one. It does a lot of damage and usually hits over a wide area. Begina and Culcha's both do a ton of hits as well as decent damage, so you should have both in your party.
In order to get combo hits, you need to use the teamwork skill, which you use by building up the friend gauge. Each use of the teamwork skill requires two sections of the FG, so build it up while using Diaz to give a bunch of people enough SP to use their level 3 specials.
Once you get a nice group of enemies together, spam your specials using teamwork. Aim for more then 100 hits and over 10k damage, and you should be fine. There is an assumption that number of enemies killed counts too. I couldn't get S rank on a stage with less then 30, but it may be possible.

is an S rank requered to Level up or will you Level up at some point anyway just to be Clear on it

Ok good to know. I am writting a walk troug fore this game and later the same for the korean verion of the game so i am just tring to get hold of every thing and i think F is the worst rank by the way saw it on a vido on youtube the lowest i Have been so far is D wher you loose 4 pary members.

The criteria for achieving an S rank are as such
- Diaz must be level 40 or greater
- You must use TWO 100 power BF attacks
- Both 100 power BF attacks must be cast AFTER a 100+ hit combo
- No one can retreat or "die" during the mission
- The mission must have 20 enemies or more, Destroy Underworld and destroy Nameless are great missions to do this.
- Take as many turns as you need to build up BF attacks to 100.
- Easy mode: Heal your party, Build up Battle gauge using FG up 1/2/3, Cast a teamwork even if you do nothing after you use it and get BF to 80. wait for Begina's turn use crescent edge on Four or more enemies, Teamwork Culcha Use her tech 3, Teamwork any one that can get to an enemy within one square, you should be at bf 100 use it and do it one more time. Finish the mission.

For this Achievement all you need to do is go to any easy rank mission, build up your friendship meter to full and use that to build up your battle formation to 100. Use your max attack so it only kills a few monsters. Repeat this 3 or 4 times and you have your S rank. I don't remember if i used 3 max level battle formation attacks or 4.
