This achievement requires you to get 10k damage in a combo. THis does not mean you have to get 10k with one character, you just need to get it in one string of attacks. You can do this using teamwork and assist.
At a certain level, that varies by character, each character will learn their unique special. It's their third skill, and some of them are really good for this. Most of the 3rd unique specials hit wide areas and do good damage, so all you need to do is get 2-3 characters with enough SP for their specials and then use teamwork to string them together.
I got this using Begina's special, and then using teamwork to use Mayura, and then using hers. If you get 4-6 enemies in the radius you can do well over 10k.
If you still need more damage, you can teamwork to another character and use his/her unique special.
