How to unlock the Thesaurus achievement in Spellspire - Definitive Guide
The reason I attempted this on Endless Dungeons mode is because the enemies are infinite giving you more time and opportunities to type in words. I had typed in around 60 of the 150 words that were available to me.
My technique was to use this solver (http://wordsolver.net/solve) by typing in the 10 letters you are given. I restarted the floor a few times until I had a bunch of letters which could create a smaller amount (aim for around 150). If there's hundreds of possible words then you'd have to type in more for the achievement and seeing as the enemies get more difficult as you progress it would make doing this much harder.
I went to the 3 letter words and started typing them in as quick as I could. Always keep an eye on your health bar to ensure you don't get killed. If I could see the timer was getting low and the enemies health was still quite high I would scroll up the list and pick a 6 letter word to do which would do enough damage to defeat the enemy and reset the timer.
It may also help to have the letter S in your pile as it meant I could quickly do a 4 letter word after a 3 letter by pressing the B button to bring up what I last entered (so if I entered the word "DAD" I would then just add an S to make "DADS". This helps add on another word quickly. I actually died just shortly before getting on to inputting 4 letter words so it's best to try get any if you are close to them from adding in a 3 letter word (like "BEE" could then become "BEER".
Overall it's not too hard of an achievement and I might have made it sound more long winded than it really is. Hopefully my tips will help though. :)
This trophy can only realistically be obtained in the Endless Dungeon. It's not uncommon to be able to make 150 or more words from the 10 letters available to you on any given level, but all the monsters on a normal tower level will be dead long before you've spelled 25% of them.
The easiest way to earn this trophy is to put the 10 letters you're given into an internet anagram solver, such as the one you will find here, then simply work your way through the list of words until you hit 25%. Try to save longer words for more powerful monsters - in my case I worked through the 5-letter list for weaker monsters, then used 6+ letter words for anything bigger. By the time you hit the dungeons, you will have a good idea of what length of word will kill each monster.
You can pause as often as you like in order to check your word list, but note that your letter selection will disappear when the game is paused. If you're struggling to remember the letters in order to enter them into the anagram solver in the first place, try spelling a six-letter word and remembering the four letters left over - much easier than remembering all ten.
It might take a few attempts to get this trophy - some letter selections will make 300+ words easily, and spelling 25% of them before something kills you can be tricky. When you do unlock this, you will almost certainly have traveled far enough to unlock Dungeon Master as well. If not, repeat the technique until you do.
The trophy unlocks at the end of your run on the statistics screen, so just keep going for as long as possible - you won't know whether you've hit 25% until after you're dead.

While this may be possible in the tower, I highly recommend attempting it in the dungeon since they are endless, so you don't have to worry about killing all of the enemies before you enter 25% of the words. Unfortunately this achievement doesn't unlock until after you finish the level (or by dying in the dungeon) so you don't really have a way of knowing when you've entered enough words, but I got this on my first attempt on the first floor of the dungeon, so here is what I did.
First off, pull up an anagram solver. You may be able to do it without one, but the bulk of the available words in a level are 3- and 4-letter words, so having them all at your disposal helps a lot so you don't have to stop to think.
Now what you're going to do is start with the 3-letter words and input them all, one after another, working your way through the list. Along the way, if you have an S in the grid, tack it on to the end of the three letter words to quickly generate a 4-letter word. Once you finish the 3-letter words, move on to the 4-letter words and do the same thing. Tack that S on the end to make some 5-letter words. Eventually, the 4-letter words weren't doing enough damage so I switched to 6-letter words to keep making progress, but since you only need 25% of the words, if you use practically all of the 3-letter words and a chunk of the 4-letter words, you should be able to easily unlock this achievement.
As I mentioned previously, this achievement will unlock on the summary screen after you die, not immediately in the middle of the level, so survive as long as possible to be safe.
The plan is...
1 reach level one hundred
2 backup save
3 in the first challenge of the basement we get a trophy (we recover if we passed the challenge but didn’t take the trophy)
How to get it?
1 use a word picker: Google word builder
2 we restart until there are 150-200 words in the selector and there is the letter S (doc and quickly add docs)
3 then only the sleight of hand in typing three or four letter words
In addition, it is advisable to have 2-3 shields, and it is good to remember monsters that have a short time counter so that you can cut them down with 6-7 letter words.
