The Star Challenge can found on either version of 4-2 but the consensus is that Tide Pool is much easier than Temple, so I would probably go for that one.
To start it, find Tun on the way to the exit and give her 25k gold (like the shopkeep, Tun accepts Gold Idols if dropped in her shop). Once inside, you will have 30 seconds to light every torch in the room. There are many torches laying around so don't be afraid to throw a few around and then pick up another. If you're standing at the top ledge facing the wall, you can throw a torch against the wall, lighting the torch in front of you and then falling down and lighting the torches on the way down as well.

Entering the Star Challenge works largely the same as the Moon Challenge, only this time you will see a sign with stars inside the hut. The Star Challenge appears on either the Tide Pool or the Temple of Anubis and will always spawn on either 4-1 or 4-2.
