When you have the opportunity to swing on a pole (your best bet is a traffic light). Simply start swinging on it and then jump into the air vertically and you should land back on the pole and have the chance to start swinging again.

Just keep repeating this for a few minutes making sure you do at least 1 rotation of the pole and its yours.

When you stand under a pole (traffic light) jump up using A and then hit B to swing. You have to finish the cycle and land on the pole. Jump off the pole and do it 49 times again. That's how I did it and it took less then 10 mins.
