This achievement is straight forward.
Use the Toadstool Ring power up when a goblin is closeby and you should get this.
To get a Toadstool Ring power up you need to catch a Royal Orchid Sprite. Good luck.

The first thing you need to do is capture a Royal Orchid sprite so that you have the Toadstool Ring power available.
Next find a goblin. That shouldn't be too difficult, since the little bastards are everywhere.
Wait until one of them is literally right next to you and fire off the Toadstool Ring power. You don't actually have to trap the goblin in the ring for this to work. In fact, the goblin will probably get thrown back from you, but the achievement will unlock anyway. I got this on my second try using this method.
This will save you a ton of frustration trying to actually get a goblin trapped inside the ring.
