There are a total of 13 items you need to collect to decorate thimbletacks house.... Items and locations are listed below.

1. Birdhouse - You need to get this from the shed before you can even play as thimbletack for the first time.

2. Doily - Mallory's room in the mansion in front of three mirrors.

3. Toy Soilder - On the outside of the mansion in little nook surrounded by trees beside little shed.

4. Christmas Lights - Outside the mansion and inside the garage.

5. Old Coin 1 - In the middle of the field in the forest road there is a Stray Sod Sprite circle him and he will open the area behind him with the coin.

6. Playing Cards - When your Simon at the Quarry head down the part you had Jared use the fuse and rescued the hobgoblin and go across the draw Bridge using the wheel you find at the camp Jared was held at and go across and smash the fence thats on the other side to grab them.

7. Crayons - These are in the cellar at the bottom of the entrance stairs.

8. Postage Stamp - you'll need to get this one while your thimbletack himself, its in the bookshelf area you should see it while you're roach hunting

9. Pocket Watch - After you defeat the 20 Goblins at their camp with Mallory you will take back Control of Simon, go to the back of the camp to where there is a cave and inside is blocked by a fire salamander nest, put it out with your gun and go through until the first Knocker comes down a pipe and you talk to him, continue after talking to him and head through a small hole in the wall, after coming out turn to your right and there is a fence to break with the pocket watch behind it.

10. Metal Cricket - After heading into the tunnels as Simon for the quest "Taming A griffin" you will come across the part were Jared was chased by the land troll you will see a stalactite (hanging pointy rock) hanging from the wall, use a gobstone to throw at the purple tip to make it drop then go across and pick up the metal cricket.

11. Old Coin 2 - In the section of the Deep Woods where you fight your Clone (dark shadow version of yourself) and collect the beetle mimic sprite, there is a coin on the ground at the back of that area.

12. Old coin 3 - In the Deep Woods after passing by the rock throwing goblin you will come to a big open space, hop down to it and head right to hop up on a fallen tree the coin is on top of that tree.

13. Fencing Medal - Go into Mallorys room in the mansion as Mallory and grab the medal thats on one of the bed posts.

There are 13 items to obtain for his house. They are:
1) Christmas Lights - in the Garage
2) Doily - Mallory's room on her desk
3) Toy Soldier - on the ground by a tree behind the garden
4) Old Coin #1 - large meadow on the raised hill in Forest Road.
5) Playing Cards - Using crank from goblin camp, take into quarry and use. Break wall open for cards.
6) Pocket watch - back of goblin camp in a blocked off area past knocker #1. Use bat to break.
7) Crayons - cellar
8) Postage Stamp - playing as Thimbletack, opposite direction from the safe.
9) Medal - Playing as Mallory, grab the medal from her bedpost in her room.
10) Old Coin #2 - On the tree bridge leading to cypress portal in Deep Woods.
11) Old Coin #3 - In the area where beetle mimic is, in the Deep Woods.
12) Metal Cricket - In the caves, use Simon to shoot a gobstone at a purple crystal on the ceiling (Not the knocker crystal). This will cause a rock bridge to fall. Cross it for the cricket
13) Birdhouse - Given by the quest
