How to unlock the Oniclaw achievement in Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde - Definitive Guide

See ** remarks below for specific information on this boss.

You will first need to get far enough in the Divinity Web (upgrade system) to unlock this Map. After unlocking the map you then need 500 runes to unlock the hard variant of the map and then Ember cores and Shadow Souls to unlock Hardcore and Brutal variant of the map. When you unlock certain maps when you click on a section like the Desert it will show multiple locations like Desert Ruins and Spine Dunes. Make sure to select the correct map.

You can do the kill boss achievements all on normal though.

Once unlocked load up the Desert - Twilight Oasis Map on normal with your favorite character and get to the 15 minute mark and then you will be surrounded by what looks like the spears in a circle and the Oniclaw Boss will appear. Just defeat it and you will get the achievement. Be sure not to touch the spears surrounding you as it will damage and can kill you.

**I want to note that from the second map in each area the bosses start getting stronger even on normal and they have a lot more health so make sure you level up your strongest abilities and use abilities you have the mods for. This specific boss is a Giant Crab and takes up almost the whole area inside the spears. It also forms a ring around its self and spikes shoot up from the ground all around it in a circle. Be careful where you stand when the fight begins. I used Arrows with multi-shot, the spears, poison cloud, and the bones. I had mods for all 4 and evolved them all and the boss went down in about 45 seconds or so. Little enemies also spawn with the boss after you take about 30% of the bosses health. Overall its not too bad**

Remember also that in this game most basic enemies are on set routes and they will not chase you. Some of the bigger enemies and bosses will chase after you so just be on the lookout as to which ones do chase you and which ones just follow a set route. Also, there's a lot of obstacles in the levels where enemies can get stuck or bottle necked and you can pile them up and trap them to get extra kills and xp. Make sure you take advantage of that.

Make sure you take advantage of that (I will post this in each combat type achievement and in the Abbreviated Walkthrough in case a player is not reading the whole guide and is maybe only looking for help with a specific achievement).
