It took around 5 minutes, maybe a little less. Just follow the path until you get to the cave; there is a quick little task of finding and grabbing a staff to take back for the man waiting in the cave, which will open a path to the fox once you have given him his staff. *If you hold onto the staff for three minutes before giving it to the man, another achievement will pop first*
