Spirit Of The North: Enhanced Edition

For my experience. It’s really helpful to know the level and what you have to do before trying to find the spirits with video guides.

The main point of level 7 is to reach the castle at the end of the forest to revive your body. In the forest there are many paths that lead to the castle, to help you navigate the level there are fox statues you can press B on them and they will highlight the path with Northen light in the sky.

The forest is actually not that hard to navigate once you know how it’s built. From the castle there is a river that flows toward the bottom of the level, dividing the forest in two parts and in different altitudes. Some spirits are in higher forest areas that you can reach only from the castle.

My suggestion is to just complete the level, than reload chapter 7 part 2 and start collecting the spirits from the basement of the castle, backtracking to the start of the level till the end of the river on one side and than backtrack to the castle on the other side.

Key points:

- when you encounter a spirit they will greet you by joining their hands (be sure to check the game saves in the lower right part of the screen), when you encounter the same spirit the game will not save it anymore;

- The 28 spirits are scattered around the forest AND in/around the castle. So don’t get crazy trying to look for all of them in the forest;

- Some spirits stay in the same spot while some walk around, the ones that walk around follow the paths enlighten by the fox statue, so find the statue and stick to their path until you find the spirit walking; (One path cross the river inside a natural bridge formed by an empty tree and it’s easy to miss the spirit that walk along this path.)
