How to unlock the Public Transportation achievement in Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition - Definitive Guide

This should come naturally as you play the game because the bus stop is kind of a fast travel system. It's on the map, you can't miss it, so just use it as often as you can (it's free) and it'll pop sooner or later.

For any impatient gamers you can also just continuously fast travel from bus stop to bus stop without ever sailing in between to unlock this quickly.

I cant seem to use the fast travel at all. Ive clicked every button n nothing

You need to come across a few bus stops first. The first time you come across one that has Alex the seal jumping around it with a bunch of loud fanfare music you'll know you can now fast travel. He popped up for me in the West of the map around like Mount Toroyama, but I'm not entirely sure how far into the story I was.

I was confused first because I couldn't talk to Alex, there is a small sand hill in front of him you can jump on there though just like with the errant guy. from there you can talk with Alex.

It's not working for me. I have done all missions except final one, upgraded ship fully and have used bus stops all the time. Have just travelled between 50 random stops in one session and it's still not popped. Not tracking either. 😕

I actually missed this completely. I saw the bus stops on the map but they didn't do anything when I turned up to them. Turns out there is a gold one near the center of the map where Alex greets you and that opens them up to you.

I can confirm that this achievement doesn't track. I can also confirm that it unlocks anyway. I cannot confirm that it unlocks at exactly 50x, as I wasn't counting. I just let this one unlock naturally.
