How to unlock the At Least Someone is Happy achievement in Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition - Definitive Guide

The earliest point that you can get this is after you build the garden. Gwen will talk to you about the things that you can plant there, but you don't have any seeds, so you will need to go to Hummingberg and buy some. After you buy them and get back to the boat, she will explain how the garden works and tell you to plant at least one. Do it, talk to her and the achievement should pop.

This popped later for me. I got it off Gwen, but only after I...

Which I had done well after planting in both the field and garden.

Everyone's mood drops constantly, so you need to feed and hug them all the time. The reason that you got it later on the game probably was because you forgot to feed her and she got to a bad mood. If you do everything right, you will get it as soon as you build the garden.

I got this with Gwen pretty early, after I built the field but before I built the garden. I think I fed her a few times right when she was hungry, gave her a couple hugs, and then the achievement popped after I fed her one more time the first time I visited the shop. She really likes pop corn and coffee if that helps.

The reason people are popping this one at different times is because Gwen's first few quests will increase her mood (as will shopping with the Raccoon). If you can get a mood increase from one of her quests plus her mood increases from hugging and feeding you may pop this earlier than others. If you don't time it right its fine it will come pretty easy once you have her house built, and even easier once you've improved her house.

I got Gwen to ecstatic and I didn't get the achievement. I even played through her whole storyline and released her at Everdoor thinking that would pop the achievement. Sucks if I have to start over.

Edit: I've gotten the achievement for 5 ecstatic spirits but not this one. I'll try when I'm done this playthrough to do a second run up to getting her ecstatic again.
