There are five sheep that you are able to find and bring aboard the boat, however you are most likely going to receive this achievement with just three or four before the game is over. Remember to constantly make sure that each one is properly fed as they take longer to regrow the wool if they are hungry. Also make sure you have the corrals built for them so they don't eat your crops if you neglect to feed them. I recommend keeping a large supply of wheat for the feed.
